Configuration A - Direct Hoist Control
Utilizes three-phase direct motor control for easier set-up and cabling — saving time and money. The hoist is equipped so it can be mounted in the normal or inverted position. A direct motor control hoist in the inverted position is best suited for temporary or short-term set-ups.

Configuration B - Three-Phase Hoists
The industry standard utilizes three-phase power and low voltage control. The hoist (SM1, SM2, SM5, SM10) is equipped so it can be mounted in the inverted or normal position. This hoist can be used in temporary/short-term setups or permanent installs when properly equipped.

Configuration C - Programmable Control - Single Speed
Configuration C hoists used with a programmable controller allow you to pre-program cues and control hoists individually, simultaneously, or by groups on a show stage. Hoists are mounted in the normal position.

Third party controllers and software, such as Niscon, Inc.'s Raynok Motion Control System* maximizes the capabilities of Stagemaker® Configuration C hoists. The system can be expanded to accommodate 12 controllers and 96 hoists.

*Controllers and software, which have been designed and tested with Stagemaker® hoists, are provided by Niscon, Inc. Raynok is a trade name of Niscon, Inc. Computers, remotes, controllers, and connectors are sold separately.

Configuration D - BGV-C1 Safety Features
Used where a higher degree of safety is needed. The hoist complies with enhanced safety regulations in accordance to DIN 56925. The enhanced safety features and low voltage control are operated from a standard or programmable controller. The hoist is mounted in the normal position, but when specially equipped the hoist can also be mounted in inverted position but must be operated from a non programmable controller.

Configuration E - External Controls
Hoists are setup to utilize external controls (typically VFD), which are not included. The hoist is mounted in the normal position, but when specially equipped the hoist can also be mounted in the inverted position.

Configuration S - Single-Phase Hoists
The industry standard utilizes single-phase power and low voltage control. The hoist is equipped so it can be mounted in the inverted or normal position. This hoist can be used in temporary/short-term set-ups or permanent installs when properly equipped.

Configuration V - Variable Speed Control
Utilizes three-phase power and low voltage control. The hoist (SM10) is equipped to be mounted in the normal position (only available in 460V-3Ph-60Hz).
