R&M's Export Seminar

On August 2 and 3, R&M held its Latin America Technical Seminar at the Marriott hotel in San José, Costa Rica. In attendance were more than 50 people representing 23 R&M distributors from over a dozen countries in Latin America.

During the Seminar classes were given on subjects such as Explosion Proof equipment, Crane Inspection and Girder Calculations, as well as a team-building exercise by facilitators from the firm M&M Mercadotecnia in Costa Rica.

The event was capped off by a gala dinner. Among those in attendance were: R&M President, Jim Vandegrift; Latin America Director of Sales, Jeff Brazwell; EX Proof Competence Center Manager, Volker Dietrich; and guest speaker and Manager of Ferrum, Carlos Umaña. Also present were the 2011 R&M Excellence Award winners: Plino Trevisani representing Tertecman; Juan Barrueto and Roberto Ramirez representing Fabricantes y Constructores; and Eduardo Trujillo and Aurelio Cuevas of Gruas Biajeras del Centro.
