Spacemaster SX HMI-Certified Program Release

SPRINGFIELD, OH (June 3, 2014) R&M Materials Handling, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Spacemaster SX is the first wire rope hoist platform to receive the HMI-Certified License.
HMI-CertifiedSM is a registered asset of the Hoist Manufacturers Institute (HMI). The purpose of the HMI-Certified program is to instill buyer and user confidence in the product by assuring it meets one or more recognized industry standards and the licensee is committed to safety, service and after market support. The product is also verified, signed and sealed that it meets the requirements of said Standards(s) by a qualified USregistered Professional Engineer.
First introduced in 2001, the Spacemaster SX wire rope hoist represents an innovative design that includes a large drum diameter giving it the lowest headroom and best wheel loads in the industry. Standard configurations include normal headroom, low headroom and double girder trolley designs and it has capacities ranging from ½ - 80 ton. “This is a significant achievement and milestone for R&M and our SX wire rope hoist platform.
