  • Choice of Rope: Choose between the industry-standard steel wire ropes or the premium, lower-maintenance synthetic rope. High-performance synthetic ropes have an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and are resistant to environmental damage and corrosion. They don’t rust, require no lubrication and because they have no wire barbs or splinters, there are fewer hand injuries, making them ideal for overhead cranes.
  • Hoist Motor: 2-speed hoisting controls are standard, with a 6:1 ratio and standard IP55 protection.
  • Inclinometer: Measures the angle of the rope in all directions to detect and prevent snags and help reduce load sway during lifting.
  • Thrust Rocker: Optional thrust rocker in place of counterweighting for maximum traction in high-dust or outdoor environments.
  • Belt Drive: Constant trolley traction on a girder with two driven wheels for challenging environments.
  • RSN Load hook with Crosby-style dimensions: 360-degree rotation enhances functionality and accommodates a wide range of below-the-hook devices.
  • Counterweights: Standard for hoist balancing across a wide range of trolley beam widths.
  • Hoist Motor Gearbox: Reduces girder beam wear compared to standard flanged wheels.

  • Blue Safety Light: A blue dot of light is projected on the floor to indicate the hook position, ensuring that everyone on the workfloor has a clear line of sight to the hook’s positioning. This allows operators to predict unloaded hook placement before attaching to the load and is especially useful in spaces where it can be challenging to maneuver the load.
  • Condition Monitoring: The HoistMonitor Enclave condition monitoring device is standard with the Spacemaster SXR hoist and gives you up-to-date operating data and evaluations throughout the SXR’s operating cycle.
